Hey everyone! I’mmm bacccckkk *ish* That’s right. Your gal is alive *ish*. I’m so excited that October is now upon us and autumn is finally here! But that means September is over and we’re moving closer to the end of 2018!
Wow I’ve already forgotten how I do these wrap ups without making it a disaster 😂 I usually do just a book wrap up, but today I’m gonna shake things up. Y’all are getting an everything book related wrap up/update *yay*
Here we gooooooo
DISCLAIMER: As usual these are my personal opinions. And I definitely do not mean to offend anyone in any shape or form.
DISCLAIMER 2: These books are not listed in any “favorite to least favorite” ways. It’s actually the order I read them in.
So in the month of September I read a total of *drumroll 🥁* 4 BOOKS!
I might not have read a lot of books this month, but I sure did read some amazing ones. Quality over quantity am I right?
Also quick question. In my future wrap ups, do y’all want me to share my rating (out of 5 stars) for each book?
1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Wow. So I had put off reading this book for so long, but let me just say that I wish I didn’t. This book wasn’t a 5 star read for me, but it was really good. The Dregs (or Kaz Brekker’s crew) are amazing!
2. Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
[Reread] If you haven’t read this book, go read it right now. Like stop, drop, and roll to your local bookstore 😂 I know some people had problems with this book, but I really really enjoy this series (aka please give it a chance!)
3. Escaping From Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco
Holy 🦀 So much stuff went down in this amazing story. I can’t believe I have to wait a year for the next book. Kerri Maniscalco is the queen of writing these mystery/romance/thriller/idk what genre books! I swear if you haven’t read this book or series yet, please do.
4. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
I can’t believe I’m already done with this duology! This book was definitely better than SoC (in my opinion). I don’t want to leave The Dregs/Kaz Brekker’s gang 😭 And let’s not forget to mention that right after I finished this book, I emotionally died and cried for like a solid 5 mins. Thanks Leigh Bardugo (can I have my heart back in the next 48 hours?)
Other random updates:
I am currently working on a couple of posts (for this blog) right now. Like if I moved down a couple of tabs on my computer, you’ll find the I Dare You tag, the sunshine blogger award #2, and the September song playlist post. I should get most of them out by the end of this week, but I can’t promise anything (y’all should know that 😅)
For my bookstagram, I reached 300 followers! So thank you so much to all the lovely people that I have met on instagram 💞 (I don’t think anyone that I’ve met has visited my blog lmao 😂). Anywho, I have a lot of fun taking my pics so yay! If you haven’t already checked out my bookstagram, please do here or @day_dreamer394 (a little shameless self promotion)
Do I have any other bookish update? Uhhh I don’t think so (ugh why is my life so boring 😂)
What books did you read in September? Which was your favorite?
What books do you plan on reading in October?
What are you looking forward to in October?
Well this is the end of this disastrous wrap up post 😂 Thank you to everyone who is still supportive of me (I honestly don’t know why y’all are because I’m low key the worst, but I love you all very much). I’ve got to get back to my math homework now, but I hope to chat with y’all later! I hope you have a good day or night 💗
